Description
NosParlementaires is a free website that tracks the work of the 577 French MPs and 348 senators: their votes, amendments, written and oral questions, bills, reports and declared interests. It is built from the open data of the National Assembly, the Senate and the HATVP, the ethics authority, and updated every night.
Datapol, a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) based in Paris with €200 of capital, publishes it. It carries no advertising and says it is funded by its readers. Its audience is measured with Matomo on its own servers, and it says no data goes to third parties for advertising.
Each parliamentarian has a page with their participation in public votes, their loyalty to their group, their closeness to the other groups and an activity score from 0 to 100 that counts committee attendance and the share of amendments adopted. On 5 November 2026 the site counted 9,759 public votes and 144,112 amendments of the current legislature, with the votes of the day before. Its data can be downloaded as CSV or JSON under the Etalab open licence, through a public API with a free key, and as a dataset on data.gouv.fr. It shows much of what NosDéputés.fr showed; that site, run by volunteers of the association Regards Citoyens, has not been updated for the MPs elected in 2024.
Strengths
- Covers both chambers, with amendments, questions, committee attendance and declared interests as well as votes.
- Updated every night, with a vote usually shown the day after the sitting.
- Open data in CSV and JSON, a free API and self-hosted audience measurement without advertising.
Weaknesses
- Published by a small company rather than an association, with no named team, no funding figures and no published source code.
- The activity score and rankings reduce an MP’s work to a number, which says little about its quality or effect.
- Senators can vote by proxy, so a Senate vote doesn’t prove the senator was present, as the site itself warns.
Who it is for
Citizens, journalists and researchers who follow both the National Assembly and the Senate and need amendments, questions or declared interests, or a free API to reuse the data.
